WORK EXPERIENCE
Manufacturing Engineer, Ori Living Inc., Boston, MA May 2022-Present
Oversaw the release of dozens of ECOs and coordinated the manufacture of new revisions with suppliers
Acted as project manager for installations with over 40 systems including training and supervision of install teams, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues, and developed in-field fixes to stay on schedule
Redesigned lab inventory system to ensure 90% of parts could reach the field in 24 hours or less
Owned all changes and updates to installation documentation to reflect ECOs and improve clarity
Assisted in the development of Ori’s deployment division by creating and developing processes, documentation, managing multiple installations including the first installation to result in a net profit
Autonomous Vehicle Deployment Engineer, Optimus Ride, Boston, MA September 2021 - Present
Lead root cause analysis for mechanical, electrical, and software issues at deployment sites to maximize vehicle uptime on all deployment sites
Developed a new company standard process to validate LIDAR sensors returning from sites
Revised and optimized route networks using Linux based software to utilize new features as they released
Mechanical Engineer, Haigh-Farr Inc., Bedford, NH June 2020 - September 2021
Worked directly with customers to design antenna systems for unique systems while optimizing for volume, weight, durability, cost, and production time
Reduced the weight of a space bound antenna by 50% by using advanced composites and validated new the new design with ANSYS analyses of spacecraft environments
Developed new antenna manufacturing process for a high priority R&D phase antenna system
Generated fabrication drawings using GD&T and ASME Y14.5 with sub .001” precision and worked directly with machinists to develop necessary fixtures and techniques for unusual antenna geometry
Research and Development Engineering Intern, ABB Inc., Plainville, CT May 2019 - August 2019
Reduced UL testing labor time by 90% by developing a machine that could conduct 6 tests simultaneously
Designed and built standalone Arduino based electronics package to allow an operator to create unique testing profiles and review live performance for each of the testing units
Manufactured a prototype that outperformed requirements and presented to American leadership team
PROJECT WORK
Tree Seedling Planter, Senior Capstone Project, WPI August 2019 - May 2020
Designed a fully mechanical trailer to transplant evergreen saplings with minimal human input
Developed the systems to dig holes and fill in holes timed and powered by the movement of the wheels
Verified force needed for planting and structural integrity using hand calculations and ANSYS simulations
Winner of Provost Award for best senior capstone in the Mechanical Engineering department
